13. I used Essex Man with a Van for moving house in Chelmsford. Pete and Matt were friendly and accommodating and worked non stop to get all of my belongings moved promptly and efficiently into the new place. I’d definitely recommend the service and would use Pete again.

26. Pete helped me empty many items ( mostly large) from my mothers flat at late notice,he was helpful, friendly and reasonably priced,I have recommended him to friends and I would not hesitate to use him again.

27. Pete helped us to move my mother from a 3 bedroom house into a bungalow. This involved trips to both the new property and to the recycling centre. Everything was moved carefully and professionally. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him, and would definitely hire him again.

28. Pete chose, picked up and moved a table tennis from Chelmsford to London for us. He was totally reliable, great communication and good choice of table! We’d highly recommend him to anyone else looking for a ‘man with a van’. We’d certainly ask him again next time we need a similar service.

29. I would recommend Pete without hesitation. I used his services in December 2014, initially booking him for the morning to assist with the removal of various items of furniture, which included an extremely heavy marble dining table, lots of boxes and some garden pots. After completing the original run from Maldon to Billericay, he agreed to stay longer and return to help load and move a dismantled BBQ hut, which was no mean feat. Nothing is too much trouble for him, he is incredibly obliging and affable. His help and expertise is invaluable. I’m not sure how we would have coped without him. A huge thank you Pete.

He helped tremendously with the heavy items which we could not have lifted alone, and when it looked like it might not all fit in the van, he unloaded and re packed so that we could squeeze it all in. All arrived safely at the other end and would highly recommend Pete and his van!

43. Thank you pete…. he kept us updated on arrival time as traffic was awful that morning. He was efficient taking care of furniture and breakables with no fuss about moving pieces from top floor of 3 storey house. He was polite and made the day much easier for our elederly Dad who was leaving his house after 50 years. I would recommend Pete’s service.

He took great care with the loading, unloading and maneuvering of the furniture and clearly knew the ‘tricks of the trade’ when when it came to moving the larger items such as sofas.
