Pete was a great help in collecting a sofa and carrying it up the stairs with me. – and in taking the old one down. A bit tricky but we managed. Experienced mover and nice to work with too. It’s never fun moving furniture but he is easy to get on with. I would use his services again.
Pete was brilliant. I bought rather a large tree from Costco and really struggled to find someone to deliver it. Everyone I called either couldn’t do it because it was to big and heavy or wanted a lot of money. Pete delivered the tree within a few hours of calling him. Pete thank you so much for your help.
No fuss no bother they just got the job done. They were polite professional and friendly. They took my old furniture outside for the council to collect the next day before they brought the new furniture in. I would highly recommend Pete to anyone.

As most of us all know, moving home for whatever reason, is a hugely stressful experience. With my wife and myself in our sixties, and my dear wife suffering with particularly poor health, moving ourselves was out of the question.
I had a look around both on the internet and in local ads, but a chance conversation with an old neighbour led us to Pete Wade. To be totally honest, Pete wasn’t the cheapest quote we received, but we all know the pitfalls of getting something that sounds too cheap don’t we? Being in a first floor flat and time restraints tight, the last thing we needed was to be dealing with unreliable cowboys who left us stranded at the last minute.
We needn’t have worried ! Pete, along with his fantastic side kick and colleague, Sam, turned up bang on time, took over completely, and did absolutely everything we asked them to do !
Two wonderful chaps, both strong, both cheerful and both worked their guts out moving two whole loads from our old house to our new. Everything was moved with expertise, care and consideration, and put in place exactly where we wanted it at the other end.
There are a lot of chancers and cowboys in the removal business, posing as qualified professionals. You only have to search the internet to read the horror stories that any of us could innocently fall into. Take it from me, with Pete Wade and Sam on your case, you will have absolutely nothing to worry about, and they are worth every penny ! They bent over backwards to please us, and it was a genuine pleasure to request their fantastic service. If it’s house removal your’e looking for, look no further than Pete Wade and his mate Sam. I would never go anywhere else if I wanted anything moved in the future. Thanks a million lads. We have finally unpacked the last box !

After finding Pete I hired him based on his excellent reviews. We used him for my sons first move into a flat (2nd floor). Pete arrived promptly with a very clean van. Pete and Paul helped me move my household possessions into storage just prior to a refurbishment, the second time I have used them. As before they provided a brilliant service, including relocating a giant cactus, dismantling a table and driving me to/from the storage site. They were friendly and helpful throughout. A big thank you to both Pete and his mate Paul for a highly professional service, helping me move my elderly Mother’s furniture and possessions from one care home to another, negotiating lifts, staircases and various elderly residents in wheelchairs etc.. They were both helpful and friendly throughout, just what you need when you’re doing a stressful move. I would definitely use them again.
I needed to move sofas from Cheltenham to Clacton on Wednesday, today was Tuesday. Found Pete on Internet and arranged the pick up with him. Pete did everything he said he would for a very good price. Can’t praise him enough I was extremely happy with Pete’s service and would highly recommend his company.

I contacted Pete via email with short notice asking to transport a dismantled shed. He contacted back within a day and was very helpful. The shed was loaded transported and offloaded very efficiently by Pete and his colleagu . All done in less than hour and half. Would recommend to friends and family.

Pete and his mate Paul did a great job moving furniture from Tottenham to two locations in Essex yesterday. Pete was prompt replying to emails, turned up on time and they were both fantastically courteous to my elderly father-in-law who was very stressed about moving from his home of 30 years. Will definitely use Pete again when we need a man with a van.
Pete and his partner Rebecca did an amazing job moving us from a fourth floor flat in London and then delivering items to 3 different venues in Essex in the space of 5 hrs and 20 minutes! Their speed, energy and commitment to the job were incredible and they maintained total professionalism and good humour throughout what was a challenging process. Even more amazing was their ability to remain positive as they packed a lot of the items into a tiny storage unit with space to spare. I cannot recommend Pete’s service highly enough. But Pete was soon on the phone to assure us they were on their way. They moved our furniture with care and skill (and a smile) and nothing was too much bother. Brilliant. I asked Pete if he could move a wardrobe for me. He met me at the property where I’d bought it, helped me load it, drove it to my house and helped me move it again at the other end. All for a very good price too! Excellent service and top bloke.
