We used Essex Man With A Van for a commercial removal at very short notice from Laindon to Sussex return. Excellent service, professional, polite, good value for money, highly recommended.

Pete was exceptionally helpful, and was able to collect and deliver our Ebay items with only 24 hours’ notice. I cannot recommend his service highly enough; polite, efficient and good value for money. If you live in Essex or Kent, and you need something collecting or moving, look no further than Pete!
We used Pete for the collection of our goods which were in store at Peterborough, he then collected other items in Corringham and then delivered to Holland on Sea. We could not praise his price and service enough, we took a chance on finding his site on the internet and we will tell anyone who needs the safe care of transportation of their goods of his great service. What a STAR!! If only everything else with moving had gone as smoothly as moving home (like getting back online, hence the delay in feedback!!) – My Son and myself moved our home (a top floor flat) of 16 years to another flat (also top floor) nearby – I had underestimated how much stuff we had and realised quite last minute that we needed ‘a man with a van’ – I had a ‘team’ ranging in age from 3 teenager to a 50 & 75 year old who ALL agreed Pete was ‘awsome’ – he was punctual, efficient, patient (even when I changed my mind about where I wanted a unit!) – very calm and pleasant. He was helpful before and during the move and it was a very fair price – which was also helped by the fact I already had some help (the three teenage boys were worn out way before Pete & the older guys!) – I expected the move to be quite stressful but in the event it was a really great day!! I would (and have been – by word of mouth!) thoroughly reccomend him without hesitation!! Thanks Pete – we don’t plan on moving again just yet but if we do – or anything else – I will definately be back to you! x
I used Essex Man with a Van (Pete) to collect and deliver a garden shed for me which I had to have removed from a worksite. It was at very short notice and Pete made ever effort in being able to assist me in getting it moved the same day. I found the service Pete’s offering to be very professional and reasonably priced – I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again and am really happy to recommend him to others.

Pete collected a sofa for me which I’d bought on Ebay. The service was speedy and he’s a really nice bloke. What’s more, it actually cost less than hiring a van and doing it myself!

I would wish to compliment Pete and his helper on the day of my move. Confronted with numerous problems (an oversize american fridge/freezer for 1) they dealt with it all with hard work and humour. Indeed, when my storage facility was closed before the last transfer, Pete even agreed to meet me there the following morning at 7.30 to complete my move. Oh, and the price was very reasonable as well!

Pete moved all of my furniture from Chelmsford to Braintree at the end of November. He provided a fantastic service and made the whole process stress free and easy! As I had a lot of heavy furniture to shift, I paid a little extra for another man and they were both efficient and very quick in getting everything moved. I could not have wished for a better service and will be using Pete again at the beginning of January. Highly recommended.

I had arranged for an Ebay purchase of conservatory furniture to be collected and delivered using another company. The van driver hadn’t looked at the photographs and dimensions properly and couldn’t fit the furniture in the van. I had to find someone to do the job quickly and Pete did it very well. The furniture arrived and Pete even helped us to get it inside. I would recommend Pete to anyone who wants a pleasant professional service and someone who goes that extra mile. I will be using Pete’s service for any removals in the future.

I asked Pete to help me move from London to Colchester in early August 2011. His professionalism was second to none. He arrived on time, loaded the van and drove everything, incuding myself, to Colchester. He made a wonderful experience out of a slightfully stressful situation. Purchased a really large and heavy sofa, found Pete on internet, to collect for me, could not beleive how cheap he was for a 40 mile round trip! Problem was, i hadn’t measured before buying! turned out 2″ wider than the height of my door, and hardly any room to tilt. Thankfully, he did not leave me in the lurch!, he sorted it out, left to me, i think i would have had to leave it in the shed and re-sell, great bloke, friendly, down to earth and could not have been more helpful, and i will not be using anyone else, if you need something shifted, look no further, you will not be dissapointed, 100% recommended to all, cheers Pete, i will be passing your info on, whenever anyone wants help, and i will certainly be in touch the next time i purchase, A+++++

Hi all,
Used Pete and his mate to move our furniture office to 2 new locations about 15 miles apart. Even though Pete thought he could do it in 2 runs he had to do an extra run which he just agreed to on the spot without a second thought. Would definitely use him again or recommend him to my clients or friends.
I’ve moved a lot in my life and this was the first time i started unpacking and found NOTHING broken.
Pete was fast and friendly and the price was absolutely fantastic.

Pete took a van load of my stuff from Chelmsford to East London and then carried it up sixty steps! It can’t have been easy! Good rate and great service.
When my car broke down I was worried that I would not be able to pick up an e-bay purchase (the worry of negative feedback!). I found Pete’s website and he saved my e-bay life. A nice and trustworthy guy!
Phoned Pete on 23rd December for a collection. He managed to fit me in for next day collection and delivery to London. If Pete had not done this so quickly, I would have missed out on a great bargain. Will definately use again.
